Resource Auction specializes in selling large farm machinery, construction equipment, transportation equipment, and other personal property. We also provide services in estate auctions, collector equipment and vehicle auctions, recreational auctions, and real estate auctions. Services provided are through live/simulcast auctions or timed online auctions. The organization is headquartered out of Grand Forks, ND.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads and sales from building relationships with farmers, ranchers, construction companies, government entities, dealerships, cooperatives, and any other equipment owners within their territory.

  • Handle the auction process from start to finish for their clients.

  • Work with the administrative team, operations team, and general manager to make sure we give our sellers the best experience possible.

  • Exemplify good leadership skills and support the operations crew in accomplishing all related objectives.

  • Creates a positive and professional image for Resource Auction.

  • Must be willing to travel daily with an occasional overnight stay.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree or higher, or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.

  • Strong knowledge of a variety of agricultural equipment and farming practices.

  • Experience with equipment and customer service.

  • Drivers license required.

SKILLS:

  • Organized and able to coordinate multiple events and activities.

  • Task orientated with time management skills.

  • Able to successfully meet deadlines.

  • Leadership skills and team management skills.

  • Clear and effective communication.

  • Shows good character and integrity in decision making.

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive base salary plus commission
